The imposing 5 storey "Meiner Flats" building in Cincinnati's historic Over-the-Rhine is in dire need of assistance to save it from impending demolition. Its removal would leave a gaping hole at the northern end of the neighborhood's central corridor, and diminish the character of this truly unique and cohesive historic district.
Current Demo Threat
Demolition contractors have been hired and the City could authorize demolition at any moment

- I am an individual who is passionate about the preservation and revitalization of Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. I attended MIT's Master in City Planning program with the goal of returning to Cincinnati to work toward the preservation and revitalization of Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine. After graduating, I took a job for an economic development consulting firm in Austin, TX to gain experience and insight into the economic foundations of cities. I hope to return to Cincinnati soon to help Over-the-Rhine reach its potential as a vibrant, functioning, one-of-a-kind American community.
